Resetting All BF2 Stats!!!!!!

Thats it. I have made up my mind now, I am going home after work today and starting all over with a new name, all new stats, working towards all those medals and ribbons again. I just think that I had more fun when I was getting all those and I want my stats to show how I play now and not just that I am improving. Of course I am. I have been playing the game since August and I have like 400+ hours logged on. I think that its just for my own piece of mind. Dont you guys think that maybe EA should reset all stats at some point? Another discouraging part of tracking my stats is that I wanted to get as high on the stats board as I could but with all of this padding going on I just have to ask myself one question,,,, Why?

Do you guys think that this is a bad idea?

think about your accuracy and your kill to death ratio. Kill streak/Death streak Wins to losses Ect..

i think EA should make it possible to change ure name fully, because i hate the name i hate now.i dont think they should reset the stats.

Well if you think you were having more fun getting all those basic badges, just go for it.

Personally i dont care to much about my stats, i suck but i m improving and having fun playing so who cares. I have no illusion of getting into the top 100 leaderboard or anything, as long as i m having fun.

Well think about it, who s gonna remember my stats in 2 years? No1 so why bother about it!

Iv already got my stats reset once. Not because of cheating, but I cudnt login anymore, after a patch. ""Uniqenick provided is incorrect"". 17000 points wasted. And here you can see that account:

Well, if you do restart focus on your win/loss so you can get that War College Ribbon early. After a few hundred games the 3:1 ratio gets rather large...

NOOOOO they had better not reset and you have to be a fool to want that. But go get yourself those vet and expert badges it would be more fun than getting basic all over again......I got all my basic in a matter of 3-4 days.

Make either new account or maybe you can send message to EA with your username and password and other info of your account and tell them that you want reset all your stats and maybe they'll do that.

I dont think they will reset everyones stats. People have logged hundreds of hours into this game, and worked hard to earn their badges and medals they've received. Doing that would make more angry people than happy ones o_o.

But heres some other ideas they should look at though:
- letting a person reset their own stats if they wish
- letting a person change their name but keep their stats

I recall reading some where that u can get ur account deleted from gamespy but i dont know if u have to wait to renew the name again..... most systems that allow u to delete user ids and what not have at least a 6 month waiting period where that name cant be registered again but check the gamespy forums for info.

I guess it's your decision. Yes I really wish they had a way for you to change your name, but other then that I don't think they should touch the stats. I really don't want mine reset..

you still have several ribbons to earn most of the medals and you don't have a command badge. Don't reset so much more to earn
