Just wondering what everyone with the g5 sets their mouse buttons to on bf2.
Everything is standard on mine... and I <3 it so..
I was thinking of setting the thumb button to prone just seeing if anyone else has done the same. i was thinking of maybe using the left and right click of the scroll wheel to set to pistol and rifle or somthing like that.
No weights, and yes my dpi is all the way up

i just got one, i love it for cs i got full weight at 800 dpi(medium) for bf2 i used the 2nd fastest on the razer and i wasnt very accurate(20%)
ive only been using the g5 ffor a day, and wont be playin bf2 for a while with it, os more review to come maybe!??!

The thumb button for me is push to talk on ventrillo, rest is the normal shoot/iron sight/scroll through weapons
Im sort of used to the weight of batterys in my wireless mouse so thats why i think the weights in the g5 make it feel more comfortable and on the chopperhead i heard it doesnt really support your palm much. and @kmarion do you use the 2000dpi for sniping aswell?

my thumb button is to fly in f11 on planes and in the heli to get rid of the cockpit view (F9) really quickly after solo chopping or gunning or setting up gunner.

Dont have a G5 but getting a Razer pro v1.6 monday or tuesday.
ATM i use MS intelli mouse, Thumb button is pistol, Middle scroll is knife, Right button is rifle.

Im trying to find which buttons to set when im a medic so i can get the med pack, shock paddles and rifle out faster. And pistol for when i run out of ammo in the middle of a fight.

Thumb Button = Uber 1337 h4x......I mean Teamspeak
but then I have an n52 setup where:
D-Pad Forward = Prone
D-Pad back = Crouch
D-Pad Up = Knife
D-Pad Down = Pistol
I don't have anything that helps me get med packs or paddles quicker but you could easily set either one up like that if you wanted. My G5 usually stays at medium rez except when I'm sniping it goes all the way down to 400 so I can pick the pixel I wanna shoot & when I'm in heavy armor I put it up all the way. Sometimes in knife fights it helps to have a really high mouse rez too.

I hear 400dpi is the best for sniping but i hate the fact that when you are on the move and need to swap from rifle to pistol quickly then you need to adjust the dpi all the time so do you think 800dpi is considerd "middle ground"
i have my normal left click fire and right click scope, but my thumb button is for prone so i can do it really quickly and i press the scroll button down for teamspeak and ventrillo. i use 800dpi for the likes of assault and support or medic but when im sniping i go down to 400dpi
My thumb button is 2nd seat in all vehicles, makes it a lot easier:)
