I took bf2 off my computer to do a fresh install, and there is a file left in the logo folder. And the little bastard wont go away, Ive tried everything I know. What can I do to get rid of this dam thing, any help would be greatly appreciated.

ps. When I try to delete it, it says cannot read from disk.

When you did the unistall did you press delete all shorts cuts + files and folders aswell maybe you left that out? try putting the bf2 disc in and try deleteing the icon that might work.

go into safe mode (F8 at startup) and delete it. if that doesnt work put in a knoppix or other linux life-cd and try again. if that doesnt work, your screwed and you'll have to reformat. also if it says error reading from disk that might be a sign that your hd is starting to die. i'd run a complete diagnostic of it and check the smart data

While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
