you probably did just get a defective model because those are the exact same thing as the eclipses (just with a seperate pad and different color) and of all the eclipses I've used, there have never been any problems ever (which is really impressive considering how "passionate" I am while playing ).

I have the n52 now, just replaced the n50 that I had for 3+ years. And it does what it says. I don't even have to think about what button I'm pushing, it's become instinct. I thought about the g15 but I don't need it with the n52.

I also have an n52 and love it to death but I use my eclipse for commanding in BF2 and some other games that I'm already accustomed to using the keyboard with. But if it's a new game for me, my SpeedPad is the only way I'll play, I got it right before QuakeCon 2 years ago and haven't stop using since (and it took many anger punches there too ).

I'm happy with my Eclipse. Best keyboard I've used so far, it lights up, and it's WAY quieter and smaller than my old Logitech Elite.
