Baby Einstein are good, especially on long trips. Also, start on signing early, our daughter can practically sign out anything she wants and not even two, not to mention I think it aids in early speaking. (http://cgi.ebay.com/Signing-Time-DVDs-7 … dZViewItem).

Baby Einstein is very good if you have her watch DVDs and they also have CDs. Cool that she can sign so well, read to her as much as you can over DVDs anyday. That's what we did for our son and he loves to read now and is at a speech level about 2 years above his age according to the pediatrician.
bible stories are only good for MAYBE teaching kids how to read.
