Yeah and that's with a horrid game by the Patriots. Imagine if they played well...Sheen1101 wrote:
Of all the playoff games, each game was won by 3 points. Besides the Colts game in which they won by 9 points. But the other games were won by a field goal, lol.
All I want to know is....who saw that hit the Eagles put on Reggie Bush? JAcked UP!
That man was on all fours crawling to the sideline. Best hit of the year.

Yeah it wasn't a fumble, Bush didn't have control of the ball when he got hit. I saved that video on my computer greatest hit from Sheldon Brown. I'm sad that the Eagles lost though : (
He had it grasped firmly in his hands and proceeded to make a "football move". It was a fumble. He was obviously not going to drop it unless someone knocked it out at that point.Sheen1101 wrote:

In order for it to be a fumble is that Bush has to have control of the ball and has to take two steps with it.
He has to have control of the ball and make a "football move". By having both hands wrapped around it he has control and by turning he is making a "football move". It was a fumble.Sheen1101 wrote:

Bush didn't move the ball....he got hit right when he caught the ball. He had no chance in running with ball, plus only one of his feet touched the ground. Your suppose to have both feet on the ground.
The both feet thing is in bounds, and there was no question that he was going to be in bounds. He had possession of the ball before he turned and was obviously not going to drop it. After he put both of his hands on the ball and obtained possession he proceeded to do what they call "making a football move". This procedure can be anything from turning, spinning, running, juking, switching direction, planting, etc. He turned with possession of the ball and it was promptly knocked out by Sheldon Brown. Had Brown not hit the ball, Bush would have held on to it. Since Brown hit the ball, the ball was live and should have been ruled a fumble.Sheen1101 wrote:

I think after the destructive hit Bush took, no one on the field cared wether it was a fumble or not. Eagles should have challenged though. WHo knows what could have happened. Anyways, goddamn what a hit!
He may have had control and possesion but clearly no "Football Move" was made, which is required to be deemed as a fumble.Sheen1101 wrote:

Catch+Possesion+Control-Football Move = NO FUMBLE.
Malloy must go
Two games away from being the one who called it. Maybe not the Dallas vs Saints part, but hey, who the fuck screws up the snap on the game winning field goal. Tony Romo, thats who.deeznutz1245 wrote:

I hope the only result you get wrong is the last game. For everything else, I'm with you.deeznutz1245 wrote:

I wouldn't mind seeing peyton get his 1st one.
Bears and New England. New England wins yet another crown. My call all year and I'm sticking to it. Anyone who thought the chargers would beat the Patriots in the playoffs, wow, just wow. Brady and Bellicheck just know how to get it done in the postseason.
