well it just struck Vienna and I can hear windows breaking all over the place. And I live in a densly populated area.
News say Holland had it pretty bad yesterday. Germany also.

Yea Austria is inland and it very rarely happens. But winds are exceeding 118km/h wich makes it huricane apperently.

No that makes it a 'gale force wind'. I would class a hurricane as the same thing but circular/vortex.

Hurricanes are hurricanes because of the cyclone.

Its been fucking havoc today!

I was stuck on the bus for 30 minutes because a tree had fallen into the road just missing the car in front of us!!!

Theres been trees falling down everywere, fence panels flying around and my basketball net fell over

Also my connifers (sp) at the back of my house, about 50 foot high are on the verge of falling down! The wind has blown it so hard its ripped them out of the concrete

And if they do fall they will land on my conservatory haha.
