I think take the game now (BF2) and update graphics engine, and add more things like say 30 maps atleast and tons of new vehicles along with the old ones. More factions too like north korea, and other things like that

Nope... TPS=not a great idea. You know though... people are always innovating, so yes, this could be good... but they'd have to make some SERIOUSLY AWESOME changes to make me want to play a third person shooter.
A 3 of some kind, with present to near future weapons, hopefully along the lines of the Bad Company ideas on PC with some fully destructible environments.

By the way whoever said that BF:Bad Company was only for consoles, you may be wrong. They said that they would or that its a high possibility it will be made for the PC, which would be totally fucking insane because of things like the 90 somthing percent destructible environments...
If BF3 comes I would like to see totally new weapons, not colt, ak and those normal guns but New guns that rarely used. Also commander asset that's deadly to but take time to reload.
