I was just wondering if theirs a program to record but for windows..... Something just like Fraps for games but to record on windows ????

fraps you can record anything...ive done it....not sure what your asking for....but i hope that helps. I know ive used fraps for anything.

fraps does not record your desktop, only directx 9 based programs

Adobe Captivate
Plenty of Free ones though. Just Google Screen Capture, Should work.

Adobe makes Captivate, used to be made by Macromedia before it was bought out by Adobe. Great program I have used it to make a little money, and also for a Flash class I was a TA for.

And there is the lesser known Camtasia, another TA showed it to me actually.

They both have free trials, GLHF.

^ Both look promising also, never heard of them, but they look good for a quick job. The two I mentioned are more in depth, depends on what you need it for I guess.
