sigh, i could use an 8800gtx. my 7800gt is slowly going the way of the buffalo. just last night i had to take down another setting to medium in 2142.

the 8800gtx definetly has the best value.

The dates of those benchmarks were when the drivers were just released, so I think 8800GTX is gonna win now.

Other Thoughts: I have a Geforce 7950GT -I am happy with it. and yes I still think DirectX 10 can run on this card too. its only software.

That X1950 is DDR4 I beleive the 8800GTX's are still DDR3 no? However R600 owns all Ninja is just too afraid to admit he blew $500 on something which is about to become 2nd best.

Maybe it will be better but as said. It needs alot of power to run...

Also Nvidia will have bring something even better out when the R600 becomes availible.

Nope, DX10 is actually hardware.

to spray: How could you say it own all when it's not even released? fuck the card is 12inch long... I doubt that would actually fit in a standard case.

OEM is 12 inches the standard is 9 selective posting? 9 inches is the same size as a 8800GTX. For the first part it is not legible please re write.

Currently, ATI's been getting smoked up the ass lately.  NVidia is constantly getting the one-up on them (I've been paying attention to benchmark tests, so I do have some knowledge).  However, AMD is supposedly working on a Unified GPU and CPU (recall that they bought the company about a year ago), so I see grim days ahead for NVidia if they don't come up with something to compete.  It could be a very interesting year.

Um... what are you talking about? Everything nVidia comes out with, ATi comes out and owns it.
