I installed SF, played a round, went back to BF2, got 3 unlocks offered, chose among others the assault F2000, got a flashbang with it and was happy (flashbangs helped me later to get the knife badge in BF2)

BUT: the F2000 is not an available unlock in SF, meaning I can only choose between standard and G3 (which was unlocked before I got SF).

What the ...?? is going on? I like the F2000 a lot over the G3 and would like to use in in SF as well

Any explanation or (preferably) solution?

because in SF the F2000 is the standard for the SAS assault kit. you should not have to unlock a weapon you alerady have.. <3 G3

But there's something I think is weird. I also installed SF and got 3 unlocks, but I wasn't offered the MP7. why? is it because I had not unlocked the jackhammer?

You need to have the BF2 Vanilla unlock of a class to get the BF2: SF unlock of that same class.

So...

You need to have the G36C to get the SCAR-L
You need to have the G3 to get the F2000
You need to have the PKM to get the MG36
You need to have the MK3A1 to get the MP-7
You need to have the L85A1 to get the G36E

You get the idea.

I wish I had known that about a week ago when I got my unlock for hitting 20k.

I got the 50cal rather than the G3 thinking I had no use for it as I'd be getting the F2000. Fuck! *cry*

Since the guys stating the original problem are saying for example they already had the g3 and clicked f2000 for the unlock, I don't think that's the problem. Also, since the original poster said he used flashbangs to get his knife badge in vanilla BF2, I assume your getting your SF unlocks in vanilla BF2. Third, if both one and two are true, then what you are experiencing is normal. EA only allows SF unlocks to be used in vanilla BF2, not to be used in SF. Doesn't make alot of since to me, and it seems to inbalance the teams in SF, but that's the way they did it..

I take that back. I just got 4 unlocks after playing SF for a while and used them to get the G3 and then the F2000. I'm happy.
