with all the hype and talk that comes with the nfl playoffs comes a question that i have been wondering for a while now, it was about 2 years ago and i heard from a friend that the nfl was interested in expanding the league to canada and starting up a team in toronto, i for one would love it and think they team would have more then enough support in this city (a lot of poeple here love football) so if you have heard somthing of a similiar basis, or ahve news on the plans that the nfl has made reagarding canada pls post ive been wondering for a while now

It might be popular enough, but it gets far too cold up here to play half the games on the NFL schedule. I would love if they added an NFL team in Montreal, but who really wants to go see a January game when its -20 out there?
So far I haven't heard anything about the NFL expanding though, and I'm not sure that it would work out with both the CFL and NFL both having teams in the same city.

To fight the cold, we build stadiums with retractable roofs, or just domes for that matter. I know here in Winnipeg it's an idea floating around for the new stadium that's planned. Also, a number of Canadian cities already have domes and such.jmc514 wrote:

Canadian Football League is more entertaining. Of course, it's all relative to other sports, which are more entertaining than football.
