Silkroad is the best of those above, I used to play it for a couple months then dropped it. But Silkroad is pretty damn fun at times.Andoura wrote:

Anarchy Online is awesome except for the annoying ads they put in all the towns and shops.
Silkroad Online was pretty cool when I played it but their servers couldn't handle the amount of people playing so there was a 4 second delay. I assume it's improved since then.
Fly For Fun is fun and you get hover boards but the level grind sux.
They are all above average games for being free though. Anarchy Online is the best IMO.
Guild Wars gets boring eventually unless you are really into PvP. I completely maxed out my PvE dervish and beat the game with henchmen in less than a month and I started with nothing. All thats left is farming items I don't need or collecting rare skinned items and pets which are also all useless. I actually miss the level grind.

Btw Dervishes Fail.
Rangers + Necros ftw.
Yeah, but PvE doesn't change and the level still doesn't go over 20. PvP bores the hell out of me.Jestar12345 wrote:

Dervish doesn't fail, you just have to build it right.

Do you only have Nightfall?
Firstly, I suspect because youth have difficulty with payment.-[Silver.Inc* wrote:
Why are you guys wingeing about paying for a game? WoW is ...$20 or 30 US every 2 months I think?
Thats like ...less than 2 hours work, over the whole 2 months.
Seriously, if you winge about that then you need a better job. 2 hours work every 2 months is crap all, you pay the same for a lunchtime meal.
Secondly, not everyone gets that much value out of the game. Many are simply casual gamers who might play several hours a month, myself included. I wouldn't feel comfortable with spending that much for something I would not use often enough.
I personally like WoW. The $15 dollars a month barely bothers me. More of my friends could play if it wasn't there, but I <3 WoW and nothing's going to change that. Especially since I'm getting Burning Crusade this weekend.
None of em can beat Beta Star Wars Galaxies!
I enjoyed playing Guild Wars, but it takes too long to accomplish anything. With any FPS game I can jump in to kill people and blow up stuff without having to invest huge blocks of time in completing the next quest. That's why for me FPS > RPG. I'm getting in to RTS gaming with C&C Generals.
EDIT: My gaming time is limited because I'm a father and a husband and can't just park in front of my PC for 8 hours after I get home. Used to play for a good 5-6 almost every day before my children arrived. The little crumbgrabbers take up a lot of time! They're so danged cute . . . until they crap their pants or throw up.

Got Pwnt?
Yeah, I seriously doubt you maxed anything out. You probably "beat the game". Good job. I can "run" through all the missions of one campaign in roughly one or two days, there are other things to do other than the missions. ALOT of other shit.iNeedUrFace4Soup wrote:

Try doing some of the elite missions or maxing a title or two and come back and see me.
Also, Dervish's suck anus. Characters meant to tank, but with only 70AL and slow attack times=bad combo. Dervish's are always the first to die. Actually, they are usually the second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth, however the seventh spot is usually occupied by a smiting monk, so yeah smiting monk>dervish. GG.
You missed my point...its only 2 hours work out of (going from a normal 9-5 job) 420 hours going towards a game.Drakef wrote:

It is not necessarily the amount one needs to pay, as I understand that most can afford it, such as I can. It is that it is not necessarily a value. Not everyone is willing to pay for something they won't use enough, especially those who have families, such as Stingray, and perhaps have bills to pay. It is a matter of value.-[Silver.Inc* wrote:

I suspect that monthly payment breaks a lot of video game traditions, and it does not sit well with some video gamers who do not want to have to potentially pay hundreds for this one game.
Indeed...fuck WoW
Peace

Don't know about any costs, but thought I'd throw in this "game" called Second Life... check it out, and you'll see what I call it a "game" (with " "): Second Life
