BF2S Forums bf2s is worth 2.2 million?!

I looked up www.bf3s.com and it's selling for about $200. If you can get 2 Mill for this, look at that profit margin.

I'll give you $1.9M for it, take it or leave it.

It is not what the "content" of the site is worth. It is an estimation of what the domain name is worth. The BF2S.com domain name has a high value because of the huge amount of traffic that it generates. Google could take it's search functions and put it under the domain googlesearch.com and then sell the original domain google.com for an $10 mil. - according to the estimate.

Google.com has such a high market awareness that even if people "knew" that they had changed the search engine to a different domain and sold the original, the original domain would get a high volume of traffic. In fact, I would suppose that the Google.com domain would have a much higher value than the estimated one because google.com is built into many other sites and applications.

Edit: My personal domain (wi=hich is my last name .net) is worth over $4,000 and I don't even have a web site. I just use it for email. I guess I'll go ahead and renew it.
