I swear, Its "Retard Day" On BF2

I just recently bought BF2, and I feel in love with it due to squad options, tanks, ect. Yet today I have constantly been in rooms where every man uses less than 5 brain cells. I know i'm a n00b, yet I do know that running directly towards a foe's tank with a little buggy is not going to conflict the tanks health. But did my sqaud leader know, nope sadly he didn't (Thats what I get for sticking with a guy who starts off saying "How do I shoot"..in the drive seat.)! So I went to another squad hoping to find a good team that actually sticks together and the whole 9 yards. What I got was 11 year olds who can't fly a Heli, yet Continually grap them! So I left. Went to the next room. Guess what I get? Another case of "OMG I want to fly a jet!" instead of taking flags.... I don't see why people are so amazed by jets... Ohwell, I gave up trying to find a good running server, if any one knows a good server (thats rank) please recomend them to me!

On a other note. I'm not trying to act like I know it all, nor that i'm "The best" in the game. Thats far from true. (Not saying i'm awful either.) I understand there is alot more advance players and newer players out there. Yet the "morons" (If I may call them that) will not take any advise, nor small helpful hints like "I wouldn't do that if I was you" as your squad leader charges in his buggy into a area that cleary shows a tank on the map...

just search for "project" in the server name box ingame and join the visionary server if it's not full!

Like in every game there are a lot of binbiminkia (italian term for young players that are very lamer), just search another server like:

FREDDYSHOUSE
eSq elite-squad.org
//cc server
=WTE=
extremesims
....

And don't be sad man, very often "n00bs" like you play well (more teamplay) thant the high rank players

hmm drivin with a jeep towards a tank.. more sounds like he wanted to "jihad jeep" him..
he may put c-4 on his jeep and wanted to drive to tank staop shortly in front jump out and blow the c-4... that way u get the tank

sadly true. another options is: make your own squad, invite good players. ppl who do not support you can be kicked from your squad.

why ppl wanna fly jets? they think they cant be harmed, they look for poor infantery and bomb it. but when a good pilot hunts them, they suck. well, i can say, coz i am good in dogfights and suck in bombing....

thats another annoying thing: fighter pilots who just bomb an bomb... they dont go for enemy jets. whenever i play gulf of oman for example, i see the "xxx [SU34] xaven" string and see my teams pilots bombing around and doing nothing against the SU...

Sometimes you get bad squads. Sounds like you got a stream of em. Most often squads are full of average players only half of which spawn on the squad leader - no big deal. Sometimes you get really great squads who stick together, storm flags together, and revive the squad leader.

You really have to look at squads as an alternate spawn point. Disregard the usual dogma around squads. If you see your leader sneakin around in an area with few enemies spawn there - it's worth your while. If you're spawn leader is in the meat grinder (like doing a frontal assault as USMC on the hotel at karkand) then it's probably not worth your time to spawn onto a grenade or something. The team will reap positive benefit if you play squads this way and negative if you blindly play for the short term "good" of your squad.

I always switch around until I find a squad leader that keeps themselves alive a lot of the time (so I have a reliable alternate spawn), one with a lot of people (better chance of being revived) or one that is making advances in poorly guarded areas.

Play in larger servers so you have more leaders to choose from is the squad function is a main reason you like the game.

Try downloading Project Reality. No crosshairs, No kills-confirms. I love it, it is much more focused on teamplay and REAL war than Vanilla. Also the option switching between HEAT and SABOT in tanks makes it so more playable.

But Bernadictus, what is SABOT and HEAT all the noobs yelled! Go Google Bernadictus said.

OMG you play on =WTE=? That's my favorite server!

Anyway, I experienced a little retard day myself just now.
First I had a case of comatose gunner, where my gunner seemed to have slipped into a strange kind of trance, making him unable to shoot at the enemy chopper I was skillfully chasing around. I mean at one point I managed to hover directly behind and slightly above the enemy chopper while they were shooting at something. And my gunner just sat there, staring at the clouds or something. He had a ten-second window to make a golden tv missle shot or just kill the thing with the cannon. But I suppose that doing nothing is also quite fun.

After that I decided to switch to gunner. So a pilot gets in. I notice he is just a private, but hey, that doesn't necessarliy mean anything, right? WRONG. He lifts off, flies about a hundred feet, then for no reason whatsoever rolls/flips the chopper upside down and sends us on a one-way journey to sweet old ground.

C'mon.... what the hell was that about

Hmm ranks don't really matter. I hate people who judge purely by rank. I get into an attack chopper with my sis's account,the gunner jumps out and no one wants to get in.

Sweet. I get to fly and solo tv.

But its real funny.
