Does anyone know, when you disconnect does it count as a death?

Having been kicked and rejoining a server to inquire why (reason FU) I know that counts as a death..... what about a disconnect?

Its only a death when you actually allready spawned I believe..

Correct. If you leave after you spawn, it will count as a death. If you leave without actually spawning in, it does not count as a death.

So, to avoid getting un-earned deaths it best to avoid getting kicked and not leave the game till the end of a round (or on the off chance that im already dead...)

Wondered why my stats were always showing a lower K than I expected

yes. Im trying to get about 20:1 on my new account and its considerably lower that I was expecting which prompted the question

P.S. Thats 20:1 - on foot, as a sniper....

P.P.S having the word *noob* in the account im trying this on has lead to a copious amount of abuse... people just dont like getting pwned by noobs it seems

Yep; unless you're already dead.

A disconnect for any reason (kick, ban, CTD, powercut, you name it) counts the same too, just in case anyone is curious.
