No its not some cheesy mod, its showing fushe pass with some slight modifications. ( USMC vs North Korea )

This is the future of BF2, tournament play. 32 players working together in companies to defeat the opposition (who are their equal and opposite). The name of the game is fun, the difference from public play is incredible, had i not joined this tournament i would have bored of Bf2 long ago.

I have no real opinion on these sorts of things anymore.

However I will say that the song used in that video is becoming just as common (and annoying) as the crap by Drowning Pool that people used to insist on using.

its Project reality. A Good game in need of huge tweaks and fixes. Too much realism creates boredom for gamers believe it or not. Thsi is why this game has been out since 2004 and is not big. If they only fixed the respawn time and spawn points not being a 10 min walk way from the battles i would play the game more. And i would at least like to see what weapon i was killed by instead of not knowing anything at all and just dying. Realism blah blah blah its still an online game.

no it is not project reality

this is a custom made mod for the tourny actually i.e. one made by the tournament staff not by an external mod team. It is a completely internal mod.

we also have:

a10
f22a
q5 fantan
commanche
little birds
wz-11
DIRT BIKES!!
M2701
SA-7
AT with grapple hooks
Spec ops with Zipline

High quality Custom Maps

Permission to use SF, and EF content without having to buy them.

etc etc

No commander scan, no point and click arty. No teamkilling.

We play over TS, and work together in squads to win the rounds. People looking for high point lone wolfing, this is not for you. People that want to have a good time and use teamwork and planning to kick ass then welcome aboard :salute:

EDIT: we played POE2 last campaign but it proved un popular so we have had to switch back to VBF2 which is a shame as POE was an amazing mod and IMO 100s of times better than BF *sigh*

no, its a custom mod not POE2. Its more like special forces then POE or Project reality

BF2 will die, I think. I do not know how long that will take, but at some point I'm certain it will have a very small following. The mods have proved unpopular, by the time the stats servers for BF2 are retired most everyone will have moved on to another game. So the mods will have been fruitless work.

It's a shame really, I was hoping for POE2 to be even more successful than POE1, and in some respects it was. But now what? One US server that's only populated at night, and it has a retarded "no bunny hopping" rule. I like the POE2 mod a lot, but the whole server monopoly thing that Tactical Gamer has really pisses me off.

guys the mod is completely internal.

it has been created by [bc]Hickman and [bc]Jery for use in campaign 6 of EBC, next campaign (roughly 10 weeks time) we will likely have a new mod, a new round of maps etc.

The only servers running it are our battle and training servers, you cannot download the mod unless you are a member of EBC
