Jets are for those who can't whore the ground level as much as the air level. Jets ruin the fun for more people than it makes it fun for other.

I don't see how fun it is to drive around in the tank and a Jet shows up within 30 secs and drops several bombs at you. Then when the tank respawn you take it again and within 30 seconds the Jet is back to whore you down again. And it will repeat at doing so all the time.

Trying to use AA againts them is useless as they will instantly.

1: Launch flares once the missle is close.
2: Fly straight up and then got a dead lock on on your AA turret without a slight of problem.
3: Boost several miles away from the place within seconds.

Now this might be fun for those who are flying the Godlike Jet but for the ground it's no where near as fun as for the pilot.

Btw I don't recall Special Forces have Jet maps in it?

Onto to your list.

1: Then it just needs less skill to use so you don't need to think about when you throw it out. Bad idea. But they should fix the slb crash as it's anoying.
2: Never seen this.
3: Totally.
4: No, DON'T add one, in BF2 I can understand it but in BF2142 there are maps that are only infantry vs infantry well there might be a Walker on it or an APC but those are easy to take down with some teamwork.
5: Totally.
6: Don't really agree on this one.
7: No. Do it when Hell Freeze.

As for things I wanna see, well they should first fix the connections issues with the game. Give us one or two new maps.
And those normal Bug fixes here and there.

LOLZ well you just contradicted yourself m8, its not the connection it's just the game.

1. Fix titan lag

2. The reload bug (especially on scoped weapons).

3. Allow people to whore as many points as they like ie only 2 titan destructor pins a round.

Balance seems O.K so no nerfing.
Dont agree with point 3. It would be only too easy to sit on a AA and keep the titan guns down, where's the skill in that?
Each to there own, not my idea of fun but if someone pays out there hard earned ££ on a game an wants to sit in an AA gun blatting titan guns then why not  ?  Still helps the team.
Anywayz  that was an example, I think I am right in saying that also the amount of heal, support and engineering points is limited per round as well.

Well, I really don't have a big problem with the lag on Titan mode, I don't get alot of connection errors and if I do its my wireless network.  I would like the RDX fixed, it bugs the crap out of me.  The knifing, I get knifed when the enemy is 3 feet from me or even farther, though it doesn't really happen all the time.  The Walkers, I start lagging and gliding with those fat bastards.  Thats about it.

titan lag is caused by the titans being too close together not by the computer the game is being played on. i play on a custom comp with 2GB of corsair gaming RAM, a 7900GT 256MB gfx card, sound blaster audigy sound card, dual core 4200 AMD prossesors. so i doubt its my computer that causes the lag.

I pretty much have the same setup as you, except I have a 7600GT and I never lag in the titans and very rarely do I dip below 50FPS.

yea, i lag a bit in the titans but only when they are moving or when they are close together. it definatly is not a computer problem

Second, people barely see any ads in game and when there are its about the expansion pack or something else. Most of the billboard are the same from the start and at last those are not fix, you are just bashing the game so leave.
Could you be less ignorant?  It's not the connection, it's the fucking game.  When the two titan are close the lag is huge.  When the two titans are far away, there's no lag.  It happens with 2 MB, 4 MB and 10 MB connections.
yeah i agree mate, about the titans, when theyre close together, the lag is un playable... people dont seem to realise. that other guy is just being a knob, igorant bastard. i hate it when some 10 yr old has the commander position.... no idea what hes doing and moves the titans so theyre basically making titan love. pisses me off

Hmm. I dont run a particularly good rig on this computer, just a dell box, and im only running a 2.2mps connection, and i still dont notice *that* much lag, even on 50 player titan maps

why add jets? it was stupid in bf2, jets that do 1000mph, your at the other side of the map in a few seconds, its stupid.... and very pointless, your always having to turn and move, the bombs were shit too. im glad theres no planes in 2142, makes it much more enjoyable, not having some prick constantly bombing my tank.

BF2 is great, but could of easily been greater if people hadn't kept complaining and wanting change. Dont change a game because people have no skill

You sir are a bonehead, titan lag has nothing to do with connection or your pc.  It's a fundamental problem with 2142 and yes the beefier your pc is the less impact you notice, but for the majority of the community it is one of the biggest turn offs with the game.

1) Titan Lag - more work could be done but it is much better than it used to be.
2) Server disconnects way too often.  Had the same with BF2 though.
3) Only had the slb crash once but it is annoying.
4) AA lock is a pain as well but firing and re-acquiring the target fixes it usually.
5) Make the Gunship a touch faster and the rockets/missiles a bit more powerful.
6) Add a map where the defensive impacements are intelligently placed, i.e. not behind fences etc.

In general this game is far more balanced than BF2.  The constant whorage in the J10 or tanks was great for the 2 or so people flying/driving and s**t for everyone else.  Spawn camping was also a much bigger part of BF2 (  60 - 70% of my kills    ) and is much less of a problem, particularly in titan mode.

I'd also like to see a way to enter a queue to join a full server, making you automatically join the server once a slot opens up, instead of having to keep trying to join repeatedly. Would make joining a server that a friend is on a lot easier.
