Anyone else notice no one said "eeewww". LOL No but I run 2 miles a day and lift weights. I get leg press up to 405LBs. But my weakest area by far is my chest. Got I can't even do more than 3 push ups!!! I am so going to die in basic........

Err.. getting rid of man boobs will not be a thing of 7 days, try 2 months if they're moderately big for a guy, or a month for normal. Cardio will work best, specially going out on your bicycle or stationary, do a low carb diet if you can (Check with your Doc since your Liver might be damaged by it), replace soda with water or at least diet soda or diet drinks (Green tea FTW!), weights will work, just do lots of reps with little weight since that's the key for burning fat with weights (no more than 3 days a week). Not really, combining diet, cardio and weight will make your skin stay tight and never flabby, the key here is to lift weights while you're losing fat because that tightens your skin or the muscle will take the space fat once had. Trust me, I did that to shed 50+lbs of excess weight in two months with the Atkins diet (strict). Plastic surgery should be the LAST thing on your mind, if you've tried everything else without success then do it, if not, wait.Elamdri wrote:

My friend, been there, done that, all it takes is will power, a good selection of music and exercise... lots of it. Don't worry you'll do it! Most I've been is 276lbs however I shed to 200lbs in about 3 months, yep, Atkins, lots of Spinning classes and weight training.Brizzzer wrote:

You might have gynecomastia, AKA real man boobs. Not tits that are just sacs of fat caused by being a lazy guy, but real, girl-like tits caused by an imbalance of chemicals like estrogen and oestrogen:

Weight loss alone won't get rid of it because there's actual breast tissue there. You have to see an endocrinologist so they can do a hormone check, to see what the levels are, and then you see a surgeon who specializes with this stuff. Except in extreme cases, it's basically an incision near the areola and liposuction+tissue removal, then possibly/usually some plastic surgery to make the skin not be overly stretched. After that, you wear a compression vest (basically a tight vest) to help make the skin stick to the chest tissues again.
How do I know all this? I fear I might have it myself... no matter how much cardio I do, the fat goes from everywhere except these moobs =/

If you've done weight lifting like me then this is not entirely accurate since your muscle mass will make you weight more than your perfect weight. However this can be used as a semi-accurate chart if so.
For example, I'm 6'0 @ 201lbs - My Body fat is about 10% so I'm overweight according to this chart but I'm really not.
If you haven't done some serious weight lifting then it IS accurate, 3 days of weight lifting is not serious .

Well I was more or less joking. Cause i've only been working out for a week. I mean I can tell "they" are getting smaller and my chest stronger. I say I can make it in 3 more weeks of what I am doing.
And as for my weight? I'm from Russian decent of which I am fairly thick in the bone and muscle.

See I have a problem with those fucking charts because ITS AN AVERAGE. They don't take account for Race/Genetics.
