It helps to rub them with butter.
You better fucking believe it.
Listen man, we're not here to judge you, there are a gazillion fat folks out there, I was included a long time, trust me, however I got thin and everything worked out for me, and it will for you too, just trust in yourself and have will power. And visit the weight loss forums here on bb.com:Brizzzer wrote:
Well I was more or less joking. Cause i've only been working out for a week. I mean I can tell "they" are getting smaller and my chest stronger. I say I can make it in 3 more weeks of what I am doing.
And as for my weight? I'm from Russian decent of which I am fairly thick in the bone and muscle.

They're a lot of help, mostly since they've tried everything in the book, lurk around and see for yourself .
Sorry but i've had a chart similarly pointed in my face to many times by doctors...
Dude I'm from Indy as well, Are you running I need a workout partner like really really really hardcore. Let me know dude, you and I can train together, I'm serious!Brizzzer wrote:
Been working out and I can't get rid of them!!!
I'm a smoker so running it's going to be a bitch for me, I'm on a mission to get my 6-pack back by Spring. I'm 6'2" 165 LBS with about 3 lbs of fat over my abs, it's going to take a few weeks I need a bit of inspiration.

Get mad! A lot! Do pushups whenever your mad. Pushups before using the bathroom, and after! Pushups before entering the kitchen, and after(as long as you didn't eat heavy). A lot of wide pushups will help get rid of those manboobs and turn them to pecs. It takes time and patience. Cardio will help too for it burns fat faster. Basically, just a lot of pushups. Besides, in bootcamp, all you do is pushups. So guess what? Get on your face right now! What branch you going into anyway(if it hasn't been asked yet)?
Pushups are good, but you basically have to do cardio if you don't want to wait forever for the fat to burn off...
Charts IMO are just vague approximations of what someone really is, you need to go to a doctor and have them take your Fat %, I don't remember how the process is called but it's fairly cheap and extremely accurate, there are calculators in bodybuilding.com which are very accurate, they ask your body type and other stuff.Brizzzer wrote:

I'm 5'7" and about 168-170 lbs, so that means that I am moderately overweight . I too am of Slovak decent, but I am getting pretty pudgy. Better start running the school track.Brizzzer wrote:

Try Spinning (aka Stationary bike), it's way better and has less impact on your joints, which means no busted knee caps or other sorts of injuries, not to mention it's much more fun, and you get to meet hot girls at the gym.Superior Mind wrote:

Well the track is a lot cheaper than the gym . I make like 160 a month work at Haagen Dazs, and I can't afford to put like 100 or so of that into the gym.|=-sL-.Cujucuyo. wrote:

eh, no, doing so will turn out as an injury, if you must do pushups do them fast if you want, however you must do counted reps and sets ONCE, if you do otherwise (i.e. doing them at random) will work a lot less (which means less calories burned), will make your arms much more sore, and you might hurt yourself, and you will look dumb doing it XD. Listen guys, don't give random advice, it doesn't help, if you must add something them please, post things you know, not things you've just made up.nonexistentusmc wrote:

Try Bally, 1 month membership is $40.Superior Mind wrote:

Bally is crap man, they won't cancel my membership. I'm just about to fake orders from my parent unit to some fake unit so I can cancel that junk. So freakin expensive. I've been told NYSC is cheaper here in NYC with better quality and atmosphere.
you're probably working out like a girl, hence the estrogen, hence the moobies.
You're from the USMC right? Get some C4 and blow them up then!nonexistentusmc wrote:

Man! Reading the thread title I thought "Oh my god, someone is turning gay!" or something like that...
lol 3 push ups... i am 6'1" 215 lbs. and my personal record of push ups in a row with no breaks is 47 lol... i also do cross-over sit ups (where you sit up, but touch your left elbow to you right knee and vice versa ... they are great on the abs...Brizzzer wrote:
Anyone else notice no one said "eeewww". LOL No but I run 2 miles a day and lift weights. I get leg press up to 405LBs. But my weakest area by far is my chest. Got I can't even do more than 3 push ups!!! I am so going to die in basic........
edit: oh and about genetics... i am from a English-Irish-German-Dutch decent... so i should naturally be heavy, but with the exercise i do i am not overweight...

just get down to the gym and do some upper body machines. numerous reps at lower weights will increase tone, fewer reps at high weights will increase muscle size. You'll probly want to go for tone first of all to rid you of the moobs. Ah GCSE PE did come in useful. two years after I learnt it

lol, i read the title and thought you meant "Man, boobies suck" and was quite worried for your wellbeing.
What did you used to work out?
I used to work out a lot, since I am like 6'3 and have a big build. I did have a toned chest etc, but then when I got sick. 2 Years later, im gonna start working out again since all the muscle on your body, like chest, arms etc just loosens and thats why you get "man boobs" lol. Because the muscle is just loose and relaxed it just slouches down. Unless you are fat, then theres your problem.

Also benchpress, that will tighten up the chest and stomach, but if you are fat then obviously you need to have a diet routine of what your going to eat each day while doing exercise, otherwise its pointless.
