BF2S Forums Ever feel bad for someone who's stats are really bad?

Yeah, I remember playing on warlord a long time ago, killing the same guy over and over again(some other squirrel name). At the end of the round I checked his stats and he had like a .43 kdr with 200 hours of play. I felt bad, but respected his perseverance.

If I suck too bad at a game I get pissed and quit. I guess i'm just a sore loser.

hell no, I love giving out purple hearts. its like a badge all in it self. When this guy just keeps spawning trying to get that chopper, gets killed 20 times then finally gets to fly, gets 5 kills and is awarded with a purple heart. hahaha its fucking great. He got his chopper and is awarded a medal for all the pain haha. its great.

Or being an AT transporting to the carrier. and shoting the enemy when he gets in his jet that he so long waited for. You know everyone tries to boast there stats by flying. So what better way then kill them right as they try and take off. They wait around the entire round, finally get to fly and kablooeey haha. its great.

Being one of the biggest stats-narcissists on this site, we would expect no less.

I feel bad when I play against people who have just bought the game because to be honest they don't have a chance playing against veteran players.  I just hope they do carry on playing to get better rather than giving up and waisting their money on the game.

Also need to remember that some people are playing some low point styles like my bro, he chooses one important flag, defends it till end of round... not really point wise or l33t-kill all style but he says he likes it and he has probably never even checked his stats, guess hes the one with really having fun and not playing to improve stats... also one of his favorites is that thing in carrier... anti-air thingie with mini-gun and missiles.

But to answer, naah. They still might have fun even if their stats suck ass bad & stats reflect only about 50% player how good he is actually.

Someone's gotta catch the bulliet, I don't feel bad cause for a while I used to get pwned, but now I'm the one doing the killing, so I guess that's life.  One big circle, eventually one of them will become an awesome pilot and will merc me in the jet while I go for my expert badge and medal.  I stopped getting pissed when I die, I just kinda suck my teeth grin and bare it, cause I know if I don't get your ass someone will.  If only you got more then one life at real war, oh well.

Yes, sometimes when I kill some typical newbie (you know, going around without a clue trying to be stealthy, usually as spec-op) multiple times i feel bad for a moment.
But then I realize I'm not that good either, "who cares?", and keep killing him.

If they are havin fun thats all that counts!

As per kpd, seen way too many 'good' players and high ranks change teams, or leave games when it gets one sided. Too many think about their kpd (or other stats) before the team.

Think: Fun 1st, Squad 2nd, Team 3rd, Stats last

yes.

My stats arn't very good but better than some, I do think about people who are new to the game as they may just pack in and not find out what the games all about.

People who have a resonable rank and get drummed alot, can't mind it that much, so why should I feel bad.

I've been smashed by better players(quite often), so when I smash someone im not going to be to bothered.
