It would be nice to get some sort of update from the development team ... I was on a POE server about two months ago, and the squad I was in was chatting about FH. One of the guys said that he was either on the development team or was close to the team. According to him, he said that FH2 was finished (and had been finished for a while) but that there was no desire to release it.krazed wrote:

As a former developer who retired only a few months ago I can assure you that is not true. When it is finished it will most certainly be released. Really, what is the sense in spreading misinformation like that? What purpose does that serve?OrangeHound wrote:

How do I know whether or not it is true ... and, for that matter, how do I know whether or not what you are saying is true? Two people ... both claiming to know the status ... contradicting one another.Augustus wrote:

The bottom line is that I've not seen any "official" status information coming from the FH2 team other than the occasional screenshot or video. If you are in the know, then please point us all to the "official" announcements coming from the FH2 team that will clarify the development status and estimated release. If not, everything is speculation and possibly misinformation.

Well my name is still listed on the staff page of the FH website, under Level Designers/Mappers, even though I have left. That proves I am who I say I am. The other person you speak of offered no evidence he is who he says whatsoever, but knowing the other developers and testers as I do, I can assure you noone would say anything remotely like that. The reason there is no official date is because it is still being worked on, and they have no idea when it will be ready. When they know, there is no doubt you will know. It wont be some secret, hidden in a dark cave locked in a box with an ingeneously devious set of puzzles to work through to find it.
