Hmm. I fly for my gunner in a different way.
I drop my payload first Then i start lining up my gunner for his 4 shots, then go back for a rearming run or go for a few MG passes. BUT the gunner should have his OWN decent common sense to watch the bloody mini map. And its hard to find a decent gunner nowadays.
There are several schools of though about how to use a good laser missle gunner. I find that keeping my bombs as long as possible is better for
emergency situations.
My best example is on a map like Kubra or Clean Sweep, where the MEC can lose thier airbase. If I see anything that indicates that there are enemy troops in there I want to have my bombs immediately available to clean them out. If I have to make a rearming pass, it may just be too late. Also, the gunner has a harder time taking out groups of infantry.
I'm not saying your style is wrong, just that I like to do it differently.

seriously... wtfh is that?
Yeah, these guys are the true leeches of battlefield. Just trying to rack up cheap points, because they can't play and they'll score more by getting 30+ kill assists that by playing on the ground or with thier own vehicle. I hate these guys as gunners, but even more so the total novice pilots who aren't so bad that they crash, but not good at hitting anything (watched a bomber pilot only get 2 kills over 5 minutes on gulf of oman - I took over the piloting and only averaged 2 per minute because he matched my kill count with his missles).
