Wouldnt that be cool, all building destroyable....and a new round new buildings. This would not only allow us to blow up the building glitchers but also add realism to the game. Buildings dont stay up when a jet drops bombs on them.
Play Crysis like all the cool people when it comes out if you want that. I <3 Crysis
will take a look at it
When games start gearing more towards physics graphics cards, you'll see a whole lot more of those kinds of blowing up options.
not really. i'm tired of upgrading my PC every ten months. because theres so few physics cards on the market, a game built for this would likely draw on the power of the CPU to create this crap. and because everything would have to be so flippin realistic (assuming that generic breaks like titan doors in 2142 aren't used) it would end up costing a small fortune.

That would be super cool in BF2 , blowing up every single building
Red Faction did that kinda thing ages ago... I miss that game.
yea i hate fuckin change.... who needs to evolve... i mean if we just stuck w/ the wheel i wouldnt even have to buy a computer...Ender2309 wrote:

every 10 years? jesus christ ... i would upgrade my computer every year if i could...
oh and that will never happen in bf2... the engine isnt made for it obviously... but that kinda stuff will be a heavy load... not to mention hard enough to program. altho i do wait for that type of game.. itll b here someday

i can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not at the top though.
PR v.5 will have destroyable buildings....though they wont all be
erm try mercenaries on PS2, you can hardly call that a powerhouse, yet you can blow up every building in the game
Hopefully Battlefield 3 will include destructible environments.
Battlefield: Bad company does ,though I dunno if they make it for PC also, or only for consoles
I was going to mention that, Red Faction was awesome.TheEternalPessimist wrote:

I remember tunneling through insanely thick walls to make shortcuts and shooting down huge pillars for fun. That game was the best.FrankieSpankie3388 wrote:

nah wait a minute, would it be that good?
eg Daqing refinery cap would be levelled within 3 minutes of game start and the rest of the round it would just be a wasteland with a flag on it - same for any cap point.

Alas, that'll be very hard, and would probably require a netcode overhaul.
that game was fuckin greaaaaaaaat mateTheEternalPessimist wrote:

did you ever play that map where there are like 2 bases, one eah end of this long, penned-in space. each base is off the ground, and you spawn inside them. if you play 2 player, each of you spawns opposite ends
=
shoot each other from each end with rocket launchers, destorying one-anothers bases. ahhh i loved that game

seriously?! Jesus does this mod get any better? I'm never going back to bf2!VicktorVauhn wrote:

Not everything was destroyable though, mainly as it wouldn't work in a level based game.TheEternalPessimist wrote:

I've heard that FF:FOW will have atleast partially destructible environments, though how that would really work in a multiplayer is beyond me as the coding (to make everyone see the same thing) would be a bitch.
battleground europe has that. Its pretty badass.
...God help those who would dare to play Dalian if this were implemented.Mad Ad wrote:
