But the fact is that skill comes in when KNOWING what weapon to use. I would not say someone is very SKILLED if they are trying to run up on 20 people from 40+m with a dao, unless he actually made it and mowed them down. Ohh wait, he would HAVE TO bunny hop and prone spam all the way up. Noob tactic, NO? I would first laugh my ass of if I ever saw that, then tell him he has got some skills. Btw the burst shot on the G36e kinda hurts it , especially close quarters.

The only other reasons I can think off is that they die a lot from this gun so they moan about it, or they do a lot of clan battles so they have to use base weapons only, so they stick with the base weapons only when pubbing. Or they truley do think it is a noob gun and would like more of a challenge, but I wouldn't say the AK101 is more of challenge as that is also an insane gun.

I agree that the G36e is probably the most easiest gun to use (but not always), but can't quite agree that you will get aids from using it.

M16 + GL ftw. If I miss with the GL, it normally injures them which is an easy kill. Its also nice to heal yourself afterwards. ^^

A test of skill is doing that with an L85A1 and not a 36E. How is holding the trigger, continuously, a test of skill? Answer: It is not.
I never liked the 36E, and never will. I just never actually liked it, not because its too powerful!
AK-47 and L85A1 for me, sometimes M16. Oh, and the FAMAS in EF. That thing beats any 36E user everytime
