A clever production, but simplistic.  Global politics is not that easy.  And the clip ends wrongly, suggesting Chamberlain's mistake cost 50 million lives.

What were Chamberlain's alternatives?  He is ridiculed for attempting to have diplomatic discussions with Germany, but what else could he have done?  Was there an appetite in his own country, or perhaps among his allies, to immediately declare war on Germany if they continued their aggression?  Just as importantly, were they militarily prepared for war? (The answer is no, I think.)

Compare to current USA politics: is there an appetite to declare war on Iran?  Is there the military preparedness to start another war?  If the answer is no, will comparing Ahmadinejad to Hitler, and Baker to Chamberlain, help change the answer to yes?

EDIT: Sorry for the serious answer, this topic was originally in the Debate&Serious Talk section (hence the deja vu comments?).  It probably does belong in the Junk Drawer though, and might deserve short, flippant dismissal.
