Very quick question, is the Evga 8800 GTX BlackPearl, more overclockable than there standard 8800GTX?  Or is this merely an 8800 with a watercooler that has already been factory overclocked, and are jackin up the price for the sake of it?

I don't know, but I suspect that's exactly what it is.

I looked, all I see (on UK sites atleast) is other higher end priced 8800's, but none with this 'black pearl' name, though I suppose its just a special edition of some sort :\

That's the BFG version.

Same thing, just an 8800GTX with a watercooler. Both are possibly some sort of hand picked GPUs, but not necessarily.

Whether it is factory oc'd or not, you can still OC it a bit more since you have the water cooler.

Or you could buy a cheaper factory OCd card (probably got a higher quality GPU in) and a water cooler and then you're good to go.
