Heck yes, give me points for mine diffusion, or even a half a point per mine.  I never carry the defuser, but I would if I got points for using it.  Why not a 5 point pin for somewhere between 5-8 mines defused

I carry the defuser most of the time. Especially when I´m using armor. Jump out, defuse nasty mines, cap silo.
When teamed up with a buddy it´s perfect. He drives, watches my back while I defuse those things.

using Zeller sniper rifle for defusing is much more fun since you can kill anyone next to the mine/explosive and it'll count towards the guy who placed it. I'm surprised it hasn't taken off as a major way to teamkill people easily and taking no blame
