I keep getting kicked for this in some servers. I believe it has to be an admin added PB search. I know I can repatch and it should make it all better, but what can be causing this? Could it be localization files being altered? I thought this was legal though. Is it that I renamed my BF2.exe as most the tweak guides say to do? I tried launching the original shortcut and it still happens, so I'm guessing it is the localization files. Does it search for the file size or if it is altered as to add color to the HUD?

This has happened to me once also after renaming BF2.exe.

No big deal though, for me anyways.

The thing I don't get is I launched the regular BF2.exe and went back into the same server only to get kicked for the same reason.

I wanted to get back to one game where I got kicked for this so after the kick I quit, changed the .EXE back to the original name, launched, reconnected and played out the round without any problems.

But if you have two versions of the .EXE in the folder maybe that's why you got kicked again?
