Hey,

I've just deleted, (so as I can reinstall it) Battlefield 2, due to the fact that it was playing up and wouldn't open up.
I reinsert the disc and the little box with all the options for BF2 does not appear. I go to My Computer and double click on BF2 DVD. I go Setup. The computer freezes for about a minute and then I get this Error Message:
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000006). Click OK to terminate.

Yes, I've Googled it, results do come up, however none of them relate to BF2 and considering the fact that I am not outstandingly good with computer stuff, I do not understand what people are going on about in the webpages I'd found through that Google search.

So, could anybody please tell me what is wrong, and how I can fix it, in simple English?

Also, if it makes any difference, I'd recently downloaded and installed Windows Service Pack 2.
(I found people mentioning that a lot in one of the web pages I'd Googled.)

All help appreciated.
