My new 22" flatscreen is set up and it has built in speakers, but i also want to use my original speakers at the same time.

But my computer only has one green plug slot for audio on it, and i have my speakers in that so is there like a spliter plug or anything i can get?

Karma obtained easily :p.

I bet you can buy a splitter.

That's what you can do if you have a mic, but no open jacks for it, buy a splitter.

Yeah, you can get a stereo splitter plug at Radio Shack (or your local electronics store) pretty cheap. They're around $2 in the US.

You can buy a splitter from an electronics store for a few dollars.  Although I think you will most definitely need powered speakers because the level of sound output is brought down a level when you do that...  You might have ot turn the speakers up a bit more.

Why would you want mutiple speaker systems hooked up?  I thought the LCD built-in ones were sort of crappy.

stereo splitters works wonderfully. at one point i had a 2.1 and a 4.1 hooked up to my computer. pretty loud at times.

edit: yes, that's what you're looking for.
