Dunno - some guys like to jump onto others repeatedly... kinda weird.

Or better still, a "DO NOT REVIVE" button that you can press that stops revives working on you. Maybe something for patch 1.98.
You shouldnt be revivable unless u screamed for  a medic. Easy as that.

I find it very strange that people complain about being revived.

Either that or he was low on ammo. I don't know how many times I've been revived an an AT guy with no rockets who gets killed 20 secs later anyway, where in those 20 secs i could have respawned with more, and used at least one.
This may enlighten you.

No it doesn't.

The medic gives you a fighting chance.

If you're low on ammo, use your pistol or pick up another kit.

Do NOT whine about getting another chance.

If a nuke is about to go off, I always want a revive... with BF hit detection being what it is there is a chance you can scramble away. If a medic is brave enough then I ALWAYS welcome the help...

I tend to only TK medics who ignore your dying screams 3 feet away.... they pretty much always get a bullet in the head for their dereliction of duty.

Clear!
Alright champ, now get back in the fight

Love for the medics

Not without ammo, he doesn't.

You still don't get it. I'd (and others) rather spawn at a better location with full ammo then get rezzed in the middle of a firefight by some idiot who think he's 'saving a ticket', only to die again and we lose the flag that I was going to spawn at.

Not to mention I'm tired of having to pick up enemy kits. Its always a medic one, whenever I need an AT kit.

The only time I wont revive is in the midle of a party of nade spaming, as my ass aint going die for 1pt, and if im in a tank, i learned my lesson quickly with that, when first started playing, i jumped out the tank and revived, the guy who killed him jumped in the tank and killed us both, he got 3 kills and a tank for his trouble, and i got my arse slaped for giving the enemy our tank!!

The problem with this is that the medic can't possibly know your ammo count.

If you're so obsessed with avoiding revives, hit suicide the second you are critically wounded and the medic won't reach you in time.

I feel that if someone isn't calling for a medic, i wouldn't revive him. BUT seeing how this game is FULL of bugs, I noticed that when im dead, and I left click to call for a medic, my character doesn't SAY anything....He just lies there mute...I figure this happens to other people so I can't be sure anymore....I just revive anybody I can when its within means.

or the shithead medics could realize after they've revived you 3 times in front of a T-90 to leave me the fuck alone. I hate medics. They either stand over my dead body and do nothing, or revive me repeatedly as my body is camped by a tank.

Pick up an enemy kit? There wont be any nearby, since they are still alive killing me because you (the medics) are to fucking stupid to use a gun. 15 seconds is plenty long enough to kill somebody and then rev.

I thought you were only given a 'death' after the time had expired in which you could be revived. So in other words, you saved him from getting a death point. It is really annoying to be continuously revived and killed though, it's kind of like having someone use you to stat pad.

He should have been grateful to have survived though, since because of you he no longer has to go from a spawn point back to his location.

Quoted For Emphasis.

Anyway, I appreciate being revived. I hate having to respawn.
I also consider it my duty to, whenever playing Medic, to rush over and revive anyone killed around me, no matter where they died, and to throw healthpacks around whenever anyone stops.
Just as when I play support, I toss ammo packs around whenever I find people. Teamwork points make me just one point closer to the next rank.

Yea, I would have TKed you too. Probably would have thrown down a grenade, before I revived you too.

Yes, but the sniper should have:

A. Gotten up and shot the guy out of the vodnik
B. Not have teamkilled then proceeded with A.
C. Not sit in the open as a sniper.

If the car was facing him, it would be quite hard to get a nade around the back without getting shot, and with the grenade to get INSIDE the car for an instant kill. And yes, Vodnik is the MEC transport.

If someone kept reviving me, when it is obvious I would be killed again the I would not hesitate in teamkilling them. It is nothing to sacrifice 4 points if it means getting back into the fight 1-2 minutes earlier.

As a medic, generally, you should ensure that the area is clear and safe from enemies before you revive. What I mean is that you should not make stupid revives for the sake of 2 points.

For example, you see one of your guys get gunned down in the open, by a vodnik. If you rush out to revive him, the smart gunner will wait until you revive the team mate and then score himself 4 more points. Not only that, but you have have taken yourself out of the game for 15 seconds. Also, this guy might have been about to respawn and come in from a different flag, but you have just reset his spawn counter too. This not only pisses this guy off, but it hampers your teams efforts.

By all means revive if you can believe you will both live, but don't act like an idiot and waste someone else's time.

Also, welcome to BF2s.

many times if I have good cover i will sit and revive somebody until they eventually get free, it gets me points and saves them a death.

I hate when people dont revive me or dont take my kit to revive me.

I hate being revived when I see enemies approaching another flag at the minimap.

But well the sniper should've sniped the gunner in the vodnik instead...

Real medics take out the vodnik shooter then revive once or distract the vodnik (nades?) then revive the sniper.

I hate getting revived, shot, revived, shot, revived even if it doesn't count as a death, it's still time I'm out of control of my game and less time I'm able to "pwn teh noobs".

Tip for Medics - When you revive switch to medic packs and just hold it out there, you're healing radius helps people get away from these situations a lot easier.
