my SATA HDD is being detected just fine in my bios settings, but not at all in windows. anybody know what the problem could be?
Is this a new HD? If so, you need to set the drive to "active" under disk management. (Right click My Computer--> Manage--> Disk Management, right click on drive, set as active.)
