Saying high ranked players pad... What the hell??? Man there is a shit load of brig genreals now. And most of them didnt pad. Though some might.

If you watch me play you'd think i padded sometimes. Im a hot/cold player so some times ill be miles ahead of people in inf and using walker. And other times i'll spend and hour or so sitting mid table over all.

Why do people think that most high rankers pad??? Is it just cause they are higher rank than you???
Its too easy to rank up in this game so uit your bitching...

Go in to the Hall of Fame in BF2142 and put order after the score per minute. Over 10 is rare and there are shit loads of people who have 20 there.

Don't play 2142 but I think this can apply to BF2 as well:
Rank means so much to me = Getting unlocks!  (in BF2 just weapons, I know, but in 2142 I hear there's loads more unlocks so rank would mean so much more!)

True there are more unlocks in BF2142, but its only about 1000-3500 points between them later on and when you can get avarage 150 points in titan by defending Its not hard to get the ranks.

I stat padded on the first patch. Got to Brig Gen in 2 comfortable days.

My clan did they same. Now they REFUSE to play 2142 and say it sucks because "I'm done with that game, I've played it through already." When they don't know map layouts, unlocks or ANYTHING at all.

I've made a new account and Im at Brig Gen again, and Im still playing happily.

All my awards would mean nothing to me, if they weren't "earned". When an award pops up I can (and like to) feel like "Yes, I deserve that one, because I did a good job. I spent all the time and skill needed for it and now I'm allowed to be proud." Those guys who can't wait miss all the satisfaction I got and will have further on. I feel sorry for those poor people!

You may be right about some higher rank padding, but you cannot always balm the players...remember EA created the bugs in game.  I think the reason some high rank player act terrible may be because they were trying to get that missing medals/badges/ribbons/pins.  That's the reason to play the game, to achieves and advance!

Once there was time I want to get that AA gold, and still trying, I was sitting in a AA gun on a titian and someone just shout to me and told me to get off.  Some guy thinks I was not contributing to the team. 
BUT, this is MY game; I will play it the way I want to play.  I am not Brig Gen yet, may be in a month or so, I did play it like the game mean to be.
