Iker Casillas from real madrid is a very promising GK because he is young and has accomplished several cups and tournaments.

Haha yeh. My first club we were once the best team around. Then as players left and only some of the original guys stuck around we got worse...and worse...and worse... But at my second club they were already very well drilled and worked well as unit... they showed me up sometimes, actually. It was all good until a keeper I used to take courses with (who I know was brilliant and playing for the Sussex reps), came along... asshole.

lol. that happens man. i just joined a team, and their regular keeper is very poor, uncommanding, and useless in the air. i am now the first choice, its all about confidence as a keeper. you are the hero or the zero.

I had that - All 3 clubs I joined (I stopped playing a year ago) had regular keepers, took no more than 2 weeks to become first choice. Mainly because of my coaching from the ex-Brighton keeping coach.

On a more serious note, Peter Shilton ftw.

No.

I didn't really have time for it anymore, because of school - but I play cricket in the summer instead - for the best team in Sussex! Mighty mighty Findon!!!. Ahem.
My team is 2 Sussex players, 8 West Sussex players and... me.

Not once you've played for a while... and the cons are just good... and we didn't play to well, no, give you that

I prefer football - so much more rewarding - but cricket gives me a nice relaxing day out with mates

i'm pretty sure jorge campos played his last games for mexico in usa 94.......am i right? please correct me if wrong. but wasn't he a good goalkeeper. some of the saves he pulled off were utterly awesome.   its good scoring goals as strikers but for a goalkeeper making the save its the same feeling. the feeling you are invincible, and your team need you more than anyone!
