So like... YitEarp. Did you actully have to deploy and use the zip for it to count? or just keep shooting it and picking it up? =/

i spammed it a little today, but you just need to fire it and hit g - im sure some of the lazy people can write a macro to do it if they are bored lol
so you dont actully need to like run downb the zip line or climb a building right? it just counts each time you throw them?Raxor wrote:

yup, dont have to ride it unless u wanna lol. slow ziplines r more suspenseful than a horror movie
Yea YitEarp got it, but look at his SPM. It went WAAAAAYYYY down. Thats cause you don't get points for using zipline. I'd rather have a higher SPM than the Expert zipline badge.
Hey Yit howd you get those sf ribbons for teams, (everybody said that they were coded out, it would appear from ur stats that the requiremntns are 20 hours with each army and not 5
here is a site in English. just enter in your nick and click Medal Progress. sometimes a little slow but very cool. will also give you info on exactly when you got your awards and other fun stuff. when it pops up your info on what awards you are closest to, just change the Select Award Type drop down to any of the other stats.acsteffy87 wrote:
There is this german site that can tell you how many you have deployed. http://www.bf2-stats.de/ .emperorphoenix wrote:

Yes, it is right, you'll get the badges over time as you'll be using those tools a lot.
Vet zipline - Check
Firing the zipline into the wall while watching tv with no real enemies around and for no real use, isn't this stat padding?
Im going to try and earn all my stats in actual combat, it might take longer but I'll feel better about it, besides some of the other requirements are so steep that you can simultaneously earn all the steep badges all at once.
I've been doing that with my vet badges, making sure to play certain classes when attempting generic badges like the pistol and the knife.
I figure i've got to play 100 hours as all the classes plus the extra time it takes to get the IAR kills/points afterwards, not to mention the other ribbons and generic badges etc, in that time getting a large chunk of the zip/grapple shouldn't be a problem.

anyways, thats insane that award listing... im in second place with total awards? lol!!
when I was getting my vet grapple this kid told me that he was going to report me to EA and they would ban me for stat padding. I told him to make sure to take a print screen of my score being zero. lol.YitEarp wrote:

hehehe
i dont remeber exactly but i dont remeber usiing my ziplines to get my basic badge just shoot em
WHY THE HELL IS IT 6500 ziplines and grappling if the flashes are only 3000 like really you could sit beside a supply crate and fire flashes for about a half an hour i think that would just about cover it
