For example tonight, two friends and I went over to a girls house who was home alone, we watched a movie, stayed up to chat for awhile, had some tea...I went outside to get fresh air and when I come back in this delightful girl and I start talking about how damn cold it is, and she says "Ya, its so cold you might have to just stay over!" I couldn't think of what to say...I just smiled and asked her a question completely unrelated to the offer she proposed....
Around 2 am my friends and I go home, because they have to be up at 9 am. But me? Not at all. I can sleep in as late as I want...I just got home, and thought to myself how fuckin dumb am I? All I had to say to her, with a sly voice, sexy stare and in a deep baritone voice was "Ohh, so...Is that an invitation?" And I would have had a 90% success rating of sleeping with her! This has been about the third time this has happened this year with a chick. In the heat of the moment, I can never come up with the right line...I am sure this happens to alot of us, perhaps we don't watch enough movies? Or don't study enough on how to pick up chicks? Or maybe my brain is just in this mental slumber, and I still get nervous around girls I find attractive, even in my 20's...
So here I am again, where I go to bed alone...But I have grown used to it, not much of a bother anymore. Just wanted to rant I guess Please share any advice, or stories of yours. Maybe we can learn from our mistakes!?
After awhile I decided its time to stop being a pussy get some fucking numbers!
Fancied this girl for ages knew she fancied me she was one of those quiet ones and I was too scared to pluck up the courage at the time. Even though I knew she fancied me get talking to her at the end of the year a few times talked to her.
Made up some lame excuse about the end of year photos not turning up on my crappy disposable camera so asked her if she could email me em. Sure enough she emailed em saw her last day chatted for a bit asked for her number she said "Erm I've already got your email I'll chat to you through msn" .I thought sweet I'm out of free text on my phone anyway , never an email of her again nothing see her around in town avoid her like the plague.
Man that totally burned my confidence, was back on the upswing near Christmas time got chatting to this nice girl from work both laughed away the hours of the shift. Lame thing was though I left my phone at home haha I just asked her to text me. Funny thing was though I had left my charger at someones house and my phone had ran out of battery, agonizing three day wait to charge my phone sure enough she texted me. Had some normal chit chat sent some saucy messages.
Said "hey why don't we kick it one time" she said sure so arrange for a informal meeting she couldn't come can't remember the excuse. Same again for the next time pissed me off just thought forget it tells me she just "wants me as a friend". Still comes to my college to she her mates and always texts me to see if I'm about "I'm a dick in a glass" like Chris Rock says .
Guess my line of advice would be don't let fear of rejection or pass experiences hold you back, however don't be a dumbass and get burned twice.
Would write alot more but I guess you've all fallen asleep.
P.S I'm_Dooomed I thought you were about 35 or something!
