Actually, the "Deaths" means how many times you have been killed while holding the knife.... Not how many times you have been knifed...

for any that dont believe check your 'Shock Paddles' deaths....

Don't worry, it's a common mistake.

I've got a huge number of deaths while using the knife (I don't even want to look). It took me a VERY long time to get my knife badge, and then the server crashed and it took me a VERY long time to get it again. In hindsight, I probably should have waited until I didn't suck so much or perhaps not have tried to get it by rushing head-long into a Karkand grenade spam-a-thon with knife in hand. lol

Edit: OK, I looked: 529 kills and 689 deaths ...... sheesh!

I get killed while holding a knife usually when I desperately face a guy with G3/AK and hope that his 20/30 bullets miss me somehow

Ever seen clan [WOOT]? i knifed there whole clan, filling up the kill box (top-left) on Gamearena Sharqi. Pwned.
