The last two gaming pads I've used have both been the Ratpadz GS. They're not too big, not too small, have a great surface with non-slip pads underneath but the problem is that they wear out quite quickly, and I don't even game that much. I want to upgrade to something better but have no idea which surface and/or which product is the best out right now.

mate try buying Teflon. you can buy sheets of it from most places. And stick it to say a plastic cover and its perfect.

I use an S&S SteelPad (dont let the name fool you it's textured plastic lol)my mouse has Teflon gliders, theres little to no friction, makes for faster movements, I hate cloth pads now, they put me off no end.

EDIT: Linky

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showprodu … =GS-006-IC

Comes with replacement gliders for those of you with cheapo mice.

Ya the S&S are great. A lil pricy perhaps but if you want quality they are for you.

I use:

The K-Mart nearby has them on clearance for $1.50, so I picked up 4 of them.

I use a QcK mini Steelpad. It's a mousepad made of fiberglass fabric stuff thingy and anti slip layer on the bottom. You can also roll it up . Check it out:

What's a good site to get teflon mouse feet on? If they're on Newegg or TigerDirect then I can't find them for some reason, and Zimzoomfly and xoxide.com doesn't have any either. Thanks for the help so far.

I have an S&S steelpad but it's very, very worn out. so far it's eaten through 4 sets of S&S G5 teflon feet in about 3 months. I'll probably replace it with a 5L, those look good

How about a chopping board from the kitchen? It's hard, smooth and great for smashing stuff on if you have a tantrum

I, on the other hand, started using a simple icemat recently - before that it wos the surface of the table as most simple mouse mats are just too small while cloth ones have a nasty habit of getting messed up by spilled drinks or sweat after some intense gaming.
