Yeah. I unplugged it, removed the battery, took out the hard drive, put it back in while I'm talking to you on it. Retard.

All for a busted hard drive, jesus. It took 15 minutes to get a new LCD that costs 250 bucks but they're giving me the run around for 60 bucks. Stupid ass laptop...

Yep i spent an hour on the phone to fujitsu-siemans todays as my graphics card is screwed.After trying everything he told me to do (all of which i already tried).He gave me a reference number and told me to ring the  repair centre he could of done that in the first place.
Plus the fact that its a national rate call lucky i used the work phone

Aye, Ive had 3 in a row (got an XPS 600 now), and we have and sell hundreds at work all very reliable.... sorry I did mean desktops and servers... I would not buy a laptop from them

Everytime Ive looked about for a new comp most of the peeps I know say build your own.... but the only way they ever beat the price is by not actually buying the OS.... and so many self-builders have had issues having to replace bits.

If you like playing with hardware its great to build your own but nout wrong with Dell (and some other pre-builts) - its mostly just anti corp 'leet politics'

If you build your own or buy one pre-build, youll always have some failures, everyone just expects everything these days to be perfect or free (and even then they beter bloody fix it quick)
