playing warlord yesterday when all of a sudden an enemy (name in red over the player) spawned in the morth building next to me while it was a friendly spawnpoint. Thought of a hack, killed the guy and than all of a sudden got banned. Based on that assume now that this actually was a friendly wrongly identified with enemy red identification.

Is that possible and how to prevent?

Yes it is possible and frightfully annoying. Happened to me a few times, I don't think there is a way to stop it unless EA patches it out but I hope I'm wrong.

That happened to me but it was an enemy looking like a friendly.

It all hapened to me :-)
and already quite a few times too, very annoying indeed..
and especially when it's a friendly that looks like a enemy, since he will be shown as a red dot at the map ( in a UAV overflight for instance ).. It's hard not to TK him cuz from a distance the skins are difficult to recognize.. I hope EA patches it out, but I ain't betting on it :-)

They must be hacking, the same thing happened to me about a week ago, I was in this tank on sharqi, when a vodnik with a red name is driving by a shoot it and then i somehow realize it's a friendly and it says I killed an enemy but I got punished for a teamkill and I saw him later with a red name over his head but dressed like an MEC which was the side I was on.  At the end of the round he got 1st place for U.S.  He MUST be hacking.

The boy who cried "hacker"...

It's not a hack, it happens sometimes if you switch and get autoswitched back instantly.
