Maybe EA having glitches with there ranking system and everyone is randomly getting them? Cuz if you look at this

The ribbons still say 5 hours to obtain......oh and that is in seconds so divide by 60 then do it again and you get 5 hours.

Been lurking these discussions about the ribbons for the past few days.

Today I got my SAS ribbon after counting down to 50 hours in theater. So the 50 hours in theater seems correct

Give my stats some time to update (or check another site) and you'll see I've got a total of 50:26 hours in the SAS theater. I didn't have the ribbon yet at 49:25 and just played two long rounds of warlord on the insurgent team. So there's no win as SAS IAR requirement as far as I can see

Just got my SAS and Insurgent ribbons today. Both showed up within 5 minutes of each other (haven't played insurgent today).

Been pretty much staying on Warlord maps/servers, and have a best round of 80, 84 wins and 86 losses (50 wins as SAS, 46 losses). Only 48+ hours in the theater.

Maybe BR also has to be met...dunno.

I think your BRS has to be at least 120-140, because Rebels is the only army ribbon I don't have and I have a BRS of 112. Or maybe you need 40 hrs of SF play time to recieve the awards? I have 5 awards and 224 hrs on SF. 40 hrs per ribbon, 5 ribbons: 40x5 = 200. If I get my last ribbon when I'm at 240 hrs, them maybe this is true.

Ok this is fucked up... Look at Tauri1980 (my friend) we where playing the same servers.. same team , same squad... he got 3 army ribbons.. i got none.. ok hes played more than me... but wtf... he got Mec army ribbon.. in 8 hours... what is that.... ??? I believe this is just some random fuck up.. and everyone will get the ribbons when the new patch is released... only thing i can think of is .. if u play a map for say 30 min or something... i.a.r.. i mean.... hes got the spetz and sas to .. but its the mec thats bothering me... he hasnt got 50 wins jet with mec i think...

this is uber weird...

Well I am new to posting on this forum, so don't flame me when I am wrong....But I think FatBubba is right...I got my SAS Ribbon today after losing three rounds as Insurgents on Warlord....still I took me over the total of 50 hours on the SAS maps....I have about 24 and change as SAS....so my guess would also be 5 hours per army and then a total of 50 hours on the maps featuring that army....no BR requirements I guess.....unless they wanna encourage statpadding some more...

crap hehe, just when you think every thing is almost clear. Maybe it's different for some armies and Mec just needs 40. Otherwise I really don't know.

Yeah. I love me some SEALs so I wanted their ribbon first. Oh god.. I'm never playing iron gator/leviathan again. Only map of theirs' I like is Devil's Perch, M1187 domination

Anyway, looking back over this thread and everyone's times... Nobody has anything in common with someone else besides 5+ hours. and BR of 100+ is out of the question. The very first person to be found with the ribbons had SAS and Spetz, he had 80 something SAS BR, and 50 something Spetz..

Now, this is an out-there theory, but here goes. What if you just need 5 hours to be flagged for the ribbon. Then it's given out at some random time? Or or on the same train of thought, it flags that you're eligible and assigns a random set of criteria to recieve it. It'd keep people from making databases of how to recieve them..incase EA doesn't like them for some reason. May also be that way for the medals since they don't have any other requirements besides time also. I know that's pretty out-there but it's all I can think of. Everything else has been ruled out.

i don,t think so cause i got 126hrs on sf and only sas and spetz ribbon maybe we,ll never find out ;-(

i got four of the six ribbons all at the same time (check my profile for proof) and on that day i didnt even play as the spetz !!! In addition got the MECSF ribbon without 100 wins so bang goes that theory. It is definately something 'wild' that kicks it in as even the times when i got them dont link anything together.

In addition to that I have 1500+ uses of the Fb/Tear gas but no veteran award for that. What is going on ????

Completly broken, as is grappling. I have 4200 flashbang/teargas uses. So I should even have expert, but nothing. Just something else they need to fix... reaks of being rushed.
