BF2S Forums Good idea on how to get this badge?

I got my basic in Karkand
I was running down alleys and some ennemis tried to chase me down after throwing all my C4 on the ground I explode it.
It can be really good but you often get teamkills

How about i try this. this is that first metal fence where th marines approach:

So the equal signs are those pipes that are laying there, and the plus sign is the claymore. i put the explosive side facing the left fence wall over there. an enemy walks in, bam they are dead.

do you guys see what im trying to draw?

I think a 64 should be easier, at least you can get kills faster with them.  A lot of the badges end up coming down to pure luck though.  C4 for me is hard enough to get the detonator to stay out, usually it glitches back to c4 instead and I end up tossing a c4 before being able to get it out.  Then of course the enemy sees what I'm doing and is already on the other side of the map.

Claymores can be a very effective weapon, you just have to know how to use them right.  And if you are going to try and use them right, i wont help for explosives.  When I did it I would use it like i was C4 hopping, i.e. find someone, thow a claymore at them and then run like hell.  The claymore then triggers, and the next person who moves arround it dies (hopefully this is the guy that killed you).  The way this usually works is you die, and you sit there waiting for a kill to pop up.  I got Basic and Vet the same round with this, first try.  Again, i got lucky, but it works.  I was on a full 64/64 karkand as MEC.  You get alot of kills when everyone is first rushing in, and if the Hotel flag ever goes down, just run in and chuck some claymores at the guys, it will work just the same.  If you are lucky Hotel will never be capped, this is when it is easiest to get kills.

It sounds like you're getting confused between FF being turned off and FF punishing turned off.  On ranked servers, you can turn the yes/no punish off and have a set limit for TKs before a person is kicked but if you kill a teammate, you still lose the 4 points.

On a server with FF turned off, you cannot kill a team-mate.  Not something you can do on a ranked server.

Off topic: there's lots of ranked servers with FF disabled. I thought EA would take care of them but obviously they just promise and not deliver (like usual).
Bamboo Commandos 64 player server is one of them. BTW they even banned me because i told the admin he isn't allowed to disable FF. So if any of you guys know where i can inform EA i would really appreciate it

On topic: C4 badges are easier to get on sharqi if you ask me ... i had a 50+ round there once ... only using C4 no guns/vehicles. Draw attention znd pull back behind a fence/corner ... drop a C4 pack ... wait for the enemy to show up ... R.I.P m*th*rf*ck*r

Wow I didn't know this at all.  No wonder there is hella stat padding is going on.  I can see it now 32 medics on a side all killing and re-healing eachother.  F*&% that.  If you have to make points that way then you are just a p&*%#.  I will have to go check out that server and see if you are right.
