Hmm do u guys just end all processes and leave Xfire and bf2 to run? Is Xfire something like a skulls and crossbones at the end of the road?
I dont end any processes when i m playing bf2 cause i dont like the idea of my firewall being offline and i dont think its possible to end all processes except for bf2 and xfire. You need an operating system to run bf2.
i try to cut back the non-essential process yea.. msn..firefox (sometimes it still runs in the background) any diskkeeper or media players..
only thing i usually tend to have running when playing bf2 is bf2,xfire and sometimes winamp for those lonely commander nights.

Nope, leave everything running. Game runs like butter on my machine, with dual monitors.
