For Metallica, it's something else (even if I prefer the pre-Black album period). You can't compare Seek&Destroy with Orion or Call of Cthulu. It's not like those bands that grab 3 chords and only alter the structure (AC/DC ? ok...). Metallica's stuff was far much complex and diverse (till the black album). Now, I think they should quit.
