Ok Valentines day is comeing and it's time to get gifts So here is the thread so everyone can tell what they got there signifacant other/ person they like..

I just started seeing kinda an old friend who lives in Boston who loves taylor ham..

So now joke I mail ordered her 6 lbs of taylor ham with a note that says..

Yes, its traditional for some odd reason and now expected, cause anything less than twelve is cheap, and saying a dozen just sounds cool . And on an edited note- a card, one dozen fucking roses, and a stuffed valentines bunny cause im not getting her a real one.

Ahh, I see... I don't know, I might just go with a single rose as my college-student budget balance doesn't really exist as I literally have no money to spend but yet I keep buying At least it's not on credit cards, but it's still not good...

Roses usually come in dozens... I did the second option for my (now) wife, it went over well! They do count the roses, she said she was wondering why there were only 11, she thought the florist shorted me.

I've been married for 10 years now... I've had the best success when I've done something unique. Flowers and chocolates are my fall-backs for when I can't think of something original. BUT... if you are giving choclates, give GOOD chocolates. You're not going to find them at Wal-Mart! When my wife gave birth to our daughters, I gave her Godiva.

Doing something unique makes them feel special, lets them know you actually pay attention to what interests them.

Depends, if the ring is marry me i dont think shell care anything about roses, but then again ive never known a girl who wouldnt take any ring over roses any time. Eh maybe one for good measure.

Yup it's a ham that's only sold in jersey.. She's a girl that I went to high school with that I hung out with one weekend. She never had this ham and it's awesome so I brought some with me because well "she likes ham".. So I thought it would be a good idea to get her something and this seemed nice and perfect.. I wantted to make it a little special but I've never shipped meat before so I just ordered it off the internet..
