As im well on my way to the 1000 flag defense points required for my medal of valor,getting 350 more seems like quite a long time. What im wondering is, if your commander and you plant c4 at a flag, and than continue to blow up the flag before it goes neutral killing a few guys. will those say 3 kills register as 3 flag defense points even though they didn't show up in game?

No, I don't think so, when you're commanding only the commander points show up in the BFHQ, however, the kills will show up, but you don't get any extra points for them...

But I'm not sure, I'm just a Swedish fool who doesn't understand anything, so don't trust me

i think you get it registered as a flag defense, but it doesn't add into your global score. same with arty.

I think that if you kill 3 people at the same time in a CP, then it will count as 3 kills and 1 flag defense point.

Certainly before now, Ive killed multiple people in one of our CP's and it only comes up with 1 flag defense point (in the HUD - I didnt check the scoreboard thinking about it).

And you can get them as commander. Ive registered repair points as engineer before now, so I assume itll work with any teampoint.

u cant earn more than 1 flag defense at a time as far as i know

i get multiple flag defends for each person. and yes everything still registers when ur commander it just doesnt show while your playing.

lol. i get a medal of valor everytime i log in so you can have my next one

All teamwork things get counted when commanding. You just don't get points for them. Same with kills. Also none of them show up on your HUD ie "you killed xxx" and "you got a heal score" because you don't actually get points for them.

YES
You get credit for the flag defense if you use C4, mines, claymores, weapons or vehicles but NOT arty. You don't get any point but the flag defenses DO register.

Same goes for repair, supply and medic points. They do not count towards your points but the DO count towards badge, ribbons and medals.
