I got the game. Dont ask how but thats not what this is about. What is with the goddamn support whores in this game? Every server I go on theres about 5 support guys mowing down everyone and everything because of the fact that the guns are MORE accurate while being fired. Whats up with that? More accurate while firing? EA fuckup anyone? Aside from that and the fact that anyone and his grandmothers twice removed uncles son can get a cheap kill with support theres one thing that bothers me besides the damn walkers that seem to be made for the ultimate baserape. Thats right, the guns. Why are they so damn inaccurate? I mean the "Weapons of the future" should be better than that. True they kill in about 3 shots but you can shoot a guy at point blank and if you dont have the sights up you cant hit the broad side of a barn. I did notice several good things though. The maps are better, Titan mode sucks donkey dick. EA hates infantry players. They show this by having vehicles that are made to kill countless groups of infantry. The one thing EA could have done was add something like a Quake 4 feel to part of the game. A groundpounding mode for infantry players. With the current status of the game and the good teamplay feel an infantry mode would make the game more interesting. What do you think?
its not near as good as bf2 was for infantry.

When you fire an automatic weapon (real life here) , you'll get used to the recoil, begin to lean into it, and you will see an increase in accuracy. Amazingly enough, a Machine gun in real life isn't as innacurate as anything portrays it to be. And the guns aren't innacurate, you need to learn how to shoot them. I can't really explain it, but once you've used the gun enough, you can really feel it and get a lot more hits. Try the Baur. If you want Infantry combat, play one of the urban maps. You'd be amazed at how quickly a walker will go down. I stay away from piloting the damn things, because they are a walking coffin. If your fighting a walker, remember that Range is your friend. The Missiles spread too far. There's an excellent anti-vehicle guide on here.

2142 is boring, I hope the new 'expansion' brings some entertainment value to it.
You say you just got the game? Give it more time. Someone mentioned that the walkers go down easier than you might think. Very true, I can't tell you the number of times I've been owned by tanks, spec ops, or loller mines in a walker. Support? Its true the guns get more accurate as you shoot, but I've never seen any disproportionate ownage for support. Assault owns them most of the time unless support takes them by surprise. It takes a second or two to reach decent accuracy firing those things and they also overheat. IMHO the game is the most balanced of the battlefield series. Every gun/piece of equipment has its highs and lows and that's the whole point. Balance.

I agree The knife sucks though. 9 times out of 10 you wont get a kill no matter how many times you knife the guy. Stupid hitbox. The greatest thing in this game is the no grenade spam/n00btube/unlock n00bs as the unlocks are balanced and you only get a limited amount of grenades.
