I want to make a night map version of Kubra Dam

To do that, you have to replace the con files of water and sky in the server.zip file with the ones from a night map

I have done said replacing, but Kubra Dam now crashes at 62% into loading.

did you pull the old kubra file out of the game folder? if you didnt, it will confuse the game.

put it in the SF mod as well. bf2 might be having trouble finding the proper sky junk.

My machine sometimes pauses loading at 62%. I think it starts messing with the shaders at that point.

This Probably wont work, But the last Time I Always Crashed at 62 % the Fix was to Clear Cache and Re - Optimize, So, Try That.

No, the progress meter just sometimes pauses for a while at 62%. No CTD.

Hell I would enjoy a SF night map karkand with Insurgents VS USMC and added some SF vehicles like pickups instead of vodniks. Kubra is a damn great map for scrims and infantry play when its small enough. Shame its not played much.

Some one said it before but I think its worth saying again...

Make sure the map is in your SF folder, not the regular BF2 one.
