They seem a bit useless to me, except for repairing assets, which no engineer bothers to do.
Ultra slow resupply rate, i doubt they are anything more than a powergamers comfort (unlimited ammo refilling).

The number of tickets you spare for your team by healing them with these seems non existant too..

I miss the supply rooms from BF1

backup for armor
my backup airfield on Kubra Dam when my retarded team manages to loose the intake within 12 seconds yet again
useful for any other class than medic for healing or support for ammo.

Mostly for armor.  On the rare occasion, I lay next to one if I am low on health and/or ammo.

Good for assets, and for satiating the team. I haven't figured out how to arty with the damn things yet; they keep missing.
I tend to drop them near armour whores when I'm not undergoing a baserape by spec ops, though.

Yeah, supply crates help a ton for armor. Even it helps the medic whores. A medic can only drop so many medkits and revive so many people, having a crate around gives him a lil bit more time to focus on the dead than the badly wounded.

If my squad is in a pinning position, ie on top of a building just raping the shit out of the enemy and we got no support man they are very important.

I don't rely or expect them, but they come in damn handy some times.

They are nice to have around when you need to make a step for getting over walls or up to good spots.

I put they make a difference between winning and losing, but that's because I thought it was the best option, even though it's far from true.

I almost never resupply the assets since usually someone will fix them for me, or I'll just chill without a uav and be fine and the pesky spec ops waiting in my base for me to drop supps will get bored and go away.

I never use supps as an alternative arty solution, that's retarded.

As a matter of fact, I almost never drop supplies. I will if I get a request, but other than that I really don't care and neither do my teammates. I usually don't keep tabs on all my teammates unless I'm playing in a full or nearly full 64 player and am devoting all my attention to commanding. Sometimes I'll drop some on a tank or aa that's sitting there taking out guys, but most of the time they're going to die soon anyway so what's the point.

Two classes can't really function without supply crates: special ops always run out of C4 and snipers on rooftops frequently run out of ammo.

Those are what you call 'balancing factors'.

Take a Support guy along with you, shits and giggles for all, as he can pin targets for the sniper, and provide cover fire for the spec ops guy.

it depends on which map, on urban maps, they are pretty usefull because you can get to one easily since there is always one close to you.

on big maps like dragon valley, fu she pass, they are useless if not placed near an important cp.

True, support and special ops are awesome together. But I've rarely seen a support guy on a roof with a sniper.

AT always die before they can use all their ammo. At least I do when I play AT.

man, that would truely be an act of selflessness, not really internode behaviour

I do this, drop a few behind him if he's doing a good job, not sure if they all like it (might show their position)

I hope you are never my commander, UAVs are one of the best weapons in the game.

I think a CO should have close to 0 kills, and always use his assets, ALWAYS!!

What a shitty attitude, if you drop the crate they might not die!

I chose the first as you might have guessed
